Hey ya'll! It's time for another FRIDAY FACE OFF. Today's edition is on The Hunger Games!

                                                             Synopsis                                

The nation of Panem, formed from a post-apocalyptic North America, is a country that consists of a wealthy Capitol region surrounded by 12 poorer districts. Early in its history, a rebellion led by a 13th district against the Capitol resulted in its destruction and the creation of an annual televised event known as the Hunger Games. In punishment, and as a reminder of the power and grace of the Capitol, each district must yield one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 through a lottery system to participate in the games. The 'tributes' are chosen during the annual Reaping and are forced to fight to the death, leaving only one survivor to claim victory.

Harry Potter Face Off

Hey guys! Today I'm doing another FRIDAY FACE OFF!!! Today I'm doing it on Harry Potter.

I know there are so many book covers for Harry Potter; but today I'm only doing it on the two most popular ones. Which are these:

Anyway this is gonna be hard.

                        THOUGHTS AND RAMBLES

The first cover (we'll call it the oldie) is pretty cool. I love the unicorn in the back. But Harry Potter looks so goofy and nerdy. His glasses look like they're going to fall off and that does not make me feel good. But this cover is one of the original covers (almost everyone has this one) making it really special.

The second cover (we'll call it the newb) is also pretty awesome. It looks a little more modern which is good. But it's very busy. Another thing about this cover is that it doesn't really intrigue someone that hasn't read the book yet. You could easily overlook Harry.

Honestly, I'm gonna stick with oldie. You can never really go wrong with a classic right?

Friday Face Off  is a new feature I'd like to showcase on my blog. It was created by The Book Rat . This meme is for two alternate covers ''face off''.

For my first Friday Face Off  I'd like to showcase a series almost everyone is familiar with; The Chronicles Of Narnia. There are a bazillion (note the exaggeration) covers. So I will be featuring just the covers I own.

Yes I own two copies of every single Narnia book; but that is not the point!

Honestly I like both of these. The Disney one is cool. Even though it's live action. I know a lot of people who are against live action covers. But I think this one actually makes it work. Maybe because it came from the movie (that I still haven't watched btw)? All the characters look rad! Are you kidding me? Do you see the freakin' witch?!?!?!?!??


                                     



The other edition though... look at that. A totally different style, representing innocence even.

So.... what's your favorite? Are you gonna go for innocence or Disney?? I'll tell you my choice next week (mostly because I still don't have a favorite). Will you guys help?
