Reading... one of my favorite things... EVER. But people who hate reading may be asking,''What's the point of reading?'' That's what I'm here to show you:
✽ your mind has to exercise just like your body. reading is a form of exercise for your brain. it'll prevent it from losing it's power.
✽ when reading you relax. your mind focuses on something else than your life.
✽ reading will give you knowledge. you learn something from what you read, and
knowledge
✽ you practice your focus and will improve your analytic skills. for example; when reading a mystery book you might solve the problem for reading it.
✽ you practice your concentration.
✽ it's free! books doesn't have to be charged like electronics, and you can just go to a
library and borrow one for free.
✽ you'll learn more words so you can write better.
✽ studies have shown that reading helps mental stimulation which reduces (and sometimes eliminates) Alzheimer.
✽ explands your vocabulary
✽ when you read a book you have to remember many details about characters, plot, etc. this helps practice your memory
✽ not only does reading expand vocabulary but helps your writing skills get better
✽ the ultimate benefit; travel. reading gets you travelling to mythical and real places that are out of reach to us!
Are there any benefits I forgot to list?
