Across The Universe Face Off

Friday Face Off was created by The Book Rat .

For this week's Friday Face Off I'm going to do it on Across The Universe, a book that has been recieving a lot of hype specifically because of this cover change.

  So, which cover is better?

                                                                                  


This has been recieving a lot of hate for the new cover change. Especially since they did it mid-series. And I agree with most people. I think that the original (the left one) is the best. I love how when you first look at it seems like a galaxy and then you notice it's two people kissing. 

I believe this book is about space love; meaning that the first cover shows that easily!

The second book is geared more toward boys. You cannnot see anything about space or love.  So it's not very true to the book. 

It also has a book blurb which I have a love hate relationship with.

Do you agree with me? Do you think that it was a mistake for the publisher to change the covers mid-series?
